Landscape Design

Landscape design, a subset of landscape architecture, is a long-standing expertise of Vista’s with plant knowledge that spans conventional materials from multiple regions in the United States to more specialty applications such as xeriscape applications, edible and medicinal materials, and harsh environments. From early on, sensitivity to highly creative applications with analysis of spatial sequences and layering of textures and colors are very important. More complicated spaces such as sensory gardens have more specialty applications depending on the community being served.

Landscape design is one of the most complicated art forms due to the dynamism of the plant materials and the context where they are applied. Done correctly, the evolution of landscape changes to more mature forms, providing a richness of space over time.
